Meet the Team!

  • Mark Rice

    Owner / Head Chiropractor

I began my health care journey as a Personal Trainer for three years, specialising in weight loss, strength training and rehabilitation. After completing my studies in Chiropractic at Macquarie University, I returned to Adelaide where I worked as a Chiropractic associate for three years.

AFL has always been my biggest passion, as a die-hard Collingwood supporter, but please don’t hold that against me! From a young age I was regularly exposed to Chiropractic care, suffering from neck and growing pains. II continued treatment throughout my life due to my height and the demands of football.

I decided to open myCHIRO (now myHUB CHIRO & PHYSIO) in 2016 and expanded in 2020 to inlcude not only Chiro but Physio, Pilates, Remedial Massage as well as group fitness classes. I see Chiropractic as a great tool to improve posture, relieve acute injuries and help stresses from everyday repetitive tasks. My experience with Chiropractic and PT allows me to not only identify skeletal dysfunction but to incorporate muscular rehabilitation.

  • Ellie Rice (Dethick)

    Chiropractor

Hi, I’m Ellie! I grew up on Sydney's Northern Beaches and was always heavily involved in sports, athletics and my local surf club. Growing up with such an active lifestyle I knew I wanted to start a career in the health and wellness industry and so my journey began! I studied Chiropractic at Macquarie University and then moved to Adelaide shortly afterwards.I have completed post graduate studies in pregnancy and paediatrics and am passionate about how much Chiropractic care can help during these times.

I have a keen interest in optimising your general health and wellness and sports injury prevention. I use a variety of Chiropractic techniques including manual and low force techniques, complimented with soft tissue work and at-home exercises.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all and working with you soon!

  • Josh Penny

    Physiotherapist

Hi, I’m Josh. I have always had an interest in sports and exercise being involved in both AFL and basketball while growing up on the Fleurieu Peninsula. This led me to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science in 2018 and my Masters of Physiotherapy in 2021. Since then, I have had experience working in both rural and metropolitan health and working with local sports clubs.

I have a keen interest in sports injury rehabilitation and prevention, and improving general health and wellbeing. The impact you can make on someone’s daily life is extremely rewarding. I have completed post graduate dry needling training and use a combination of this, my exercise background and physiotherapy expertise to provide a meaningful and effective treatment plan to help you moving and feeling better.

  • Natasa Petrov

    Reformer Pilates Instructor

My love for pilates began over 5 years ago when I started going to early morning classes at a small studio in North Adelaide. I was never an early morning person but I found myself driving to 6am classes before my 9 hour workday. This love for Pilates led me to the beautiful Queen Street Pilates studio where I did my studies. I have been teaching for 3 years now and I feel so lucky that I made the decision to pursue a career that I am so passionate about.

I am a proud mum of my little boy Occy, who has lots of fluffy blonde hair and big blue eyes. In my spare time, I love spending time at home and love DIY and renovating. My partner Dylan helps me make my ideas come to life (even when we have five projects on the go at once!) I look forward to working with you and showing you how fun and effective Pilates is.

  • Anna Phillips

    Reformer/ Mat Pilates Instructor

Anna is a former Physiotherapy student from the University of South Australia and volleyball coach with the South Australian Sports Institute. During her studies she decided that the instructors looked like they were having too much fun while teaching Pilates. After completing her training in Mat and Reformer Pilates, she fell in love and hasn't looked back since.

Anna is passionate about empowering people to get moving in a fun way without fear or worry. She believes Pilates is perfect for all bodies as it is adaptable, creative, and effective at reducing long term pain while offering a great all body workout.

  • Nicky Pahl

    Remedial Massage Therapist

Hi, I’m Nicky! I’ve been in the massage industry for ten years, initially as a beauty therapist focusing on the relaxation side of massage. I use different techniques to optimise the best results for my clients, helping them to switch off, relax and ultimately rejuvenate their mind and body. As my passion grew, my interest to help my clients live a better pain free existence lead me to complete my Diploma in Remedial Massage.

I use a combination of massage techniques to reduce pain, treat muscles that are tired, knotted, tense, damaged or even immobile. Depending on your concern, a body postural assessment, customized massage and treatment plan can be used to get the best possible results your body is needing. I look forward to meeting you at myHUB!
